For Fixture request, please see this post http://www.martin.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=17730
Submitting fixture profiles
Hi guys, I have decided to change the procedure for submitting fixture profiles. Until now profiles could be submitted through ljprofiles@martin.dk but since this has been a ‘public’ e-mail address for some time now it bas become a target for vast amounts of spam and virus mails (there have been days when the account received more than 1000 mails usually all containing spam/virus). This coupled with a company decision to introduce very hard filtering of incoming mail with a potential for excluding mails with valid contents, has made ljprofiles@martin.dk pretty much unusable. The procedure for submitting fixture profiles is now to upload the profiles to this forum by uploading the data file via a message under this topic.
1. Create an export data file for the profile (.gs2 files are no good - see help)
2.Add a new message to this thread. Use the upload image function to attach the data file to the message. NOTE: by default the image upload applet will add image tags to the message code – see http://www.martin.dk/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3532 for an easy workaround to upload non-image files.
This thread is for submitting ‘working’ profiles only; please keep profile requests, discussions, test and feedback. to different topics. Profiles submitted through this thread will be included in fixture library list at regular intervals (and removed from this thread).

Hi Guys,
2 questions:
-> Are the profiles that we post here added to official Lightjockey / MSD releases / profile-packages? -> Is Ofer a member of the MSD Development Team right now? Are you paid by Martin, or just somebody who likes to help all of us out here...
Greetz,
Wouter |

Hi Charles,
Great! Now I can test it with the OV profile :-)
Would it be possible for you to field test it with a real fixture for me? I mostly interested to see if OV Pan/Tilts same as real fixture.

Hi Charles,
Thanks. Looking into this profile I've I already created the Revolution profiles a while ago, somehow they've missed LJ library distribution.
I've tweaked the OV profile a bit according to your LJ profile. Please note I renamed your file as 'ETC_Revolution.GS2'.

Can you also check that the Gobo Function values are correct? The function order is different then the manual:

Hi Charles,
Thanks for your input. I can make the fixture going much slower. What I need to know is the mechanical (console cue time at 0 seconds) time in seconds it takes to travel from 0 to 255 for both Pan & Tilt. Can you measrure it?
In regards to the Shutter orientation, I will need to know exactly how the shutter moves in order to refine them. I was not able to obtaine this info from the fixture manual.
Thanks for your cooperation, Regards, Ofer Brum |
