Release of the new iPhone MAXRemote

I'm trying the app now and the response is great, very fast. Thanks a lot, this is a very useful tool.

I'm wondering though, how do I clear the programmer?
Any plans for adding the keypad to the app interface?

It would also be cool to have a simple lamp on Command for some fixture profiles. Like the Mac 2000. It has so many values for channel 1. I cant remember the actual percentage to send a lamp on/off command. Otherwise it is awesome! So fast and responsive.

For now, maybe the best way to do that would be to record some presets or cuelist.

but I will ask the developers

It would also be cool if you could hit the intensity and have it come up with 0%, 50% ansd 100%. It would be even cooler if it was possible to have the gobos come up with a double click. Just labels like gobo 1 ,2 then gobo 1r , 2r ect. I know it would be a bit of work but think of the wow factor.

Originally we had gobos and fixtures pictures being streamed, but for now we wanted to keep the performance high as this tool is mainly use to update pan/tilt presets. But labels from the library would be nice too.

Maybe it should be an user option to enable gobos and thumbnails by decreasing the performance, or not. Depending on the moment...

Now that the "Ipad" is being released. I see that the MaxRemote should work on it. Since there is more surface now, wondering if there is going to be an upgrade to an "Ipad" app? talk about cool remote for the console now!!!!

Yes the iPad is a really nice platform as a remote. But hey, it's not even released in the US and definitely not in Belgium, so MaxRemote on iPad, that might take a while :-)

A question about the icon
When I choose a fixture, then I go to Pan & Tilt. I find a lamp icon on the right up corn.
When I click on it, I can't change the color of the fixture.
But when I click off it, I can change the color of the fixture.
What is the use of this icon?

And if I click on it, and I turn off the MaxRemote, I can't change the color in the MAXXYZ.
I need to restart MAXXYZ or use MaxRemote to click off the icon, so that I can change the color.

Indeed, this is the Highlight.

Try this
Select gorup of fixture and leave the intensity at 0%.
Click the Highlight, all fixture goes full
Click Next Fixture and only the selected fixture is on.

And if you turn off MaxRemote, you don't need to reboot the desk, you only have to disable highlight in the desk
