Hi guys,
I was wondering if LJ2 can send MIDI Show Control commands? I've had a dig through the manual but can't see anything on it.
Thanks
Pete

Hi mate, the turf is all yours if you can get LJ to output anything that resembles MIDI!

I think I'll end up getting QLab to recall the cues from LJ(LJ will accept midi note input...) it would have just been tidier to do it the other way around...

I just really want those cuts in video cues to sync to the lights...

You did a search here first, didn't you?

In LightJockey there is a fixture called External Program Fixture. You can use that together with Mike Stevens LJ_MidiOut. You can currently find it here: http://www.cgevents.deejays.co.uk/programs.htm#limidi

It seems the link to the LJ_MidiOut is dead. Can someone provide another link? I'm needing a MIDI Out option. Thanks!

Paul Pelletier has uploaded Mike Stevens programs here:
ftp://ftp.martin.dk/controller/Lightjockey/LightInspiration_Freeware/

You can find a link to this page under the sticky topic Latest LJ release and other useful stuff.

It can also be found here at the moment:

Thank you. I have a Novation Launchpad tied in and wanted as much control over the DMX / MIDI combination as possible.

It lightened the load not having to drag a touchscreen around to use with the 2532 control. I think I will add the APC40 next.
