Hi There,
I am trying to control ESP Vision with Maxxyz PC via Artnet. I have two separate computes each with a dedicated network card for ArtNet. I have my IP set to 2.1.128.1 on the Maxxyz PC machine and 2.1.128.2 on the Vision machine. Not sure why, but nothing is happening. Maxxyz PC sees the IP Address and knows it is ArtNet, but Vision doesn't do anything.
Is there anyone out there who can help me? |

| Are you ruinning in demo mode or do you have a dongle or maxxyz wing? Artnet is locked and you need to have a devicce to unlockl the unit. |

| Ah ha. I am running in demo mode. I don't get my actual console until mid-next week. So, there is no way to use ArtNet output without an additional hardware device? |

| Or you can use a Martin Ether2DMX device via a LAN cable (reversed for direct connection, straight if using a ethernet router) to convert some of your ArtNET universes to physical DMX universes. |

Ok. So I've got my actual Maxxyz Compact up and running now. How do I connect my Maxxyz PC machine to it as a secondary user on the same network, working on the same show file live? Is this possible? What do I want to be using for IP settings? Do I want the PC plugged into the Remote Network port, or networked into the ArtNet Network? Is there a walkthrough for this somewhere I am not finding it? If not, could any kind soul out there walk me through the setup?
Thanks! |

- This is not possible yet with a Maxxyz Console
You should connect the Maxxyz Compact directly to the ESP machine.

| Yeah. I have that working. I was really hoping, though, to use Maxxyz PC as a secondary user to control different parts of the rig. So, not possible at all? I guess I'll be running GrandMA onPC on the PC, then, and I'll to merge the input into ESP. Sad. I was hoping to go 100% Maxxyz. |

| is that also because he is running the pc in demo mode? So does that mean you can have the computer running as a tracking backup? If you can run it as a tracking backup how is the best way to set that up? Is there a ruff layout of maxxyz networks and what is possible? |
